TabbyPurrmit, for Malaysian private hospitals

Guarantee letters, handled.Tabby's on it.

In Malaysian private hospitals, a patient can't be treated until the insurer approves a guarantee letter, and that wait can stretch to six hours, usually because a single document was missing. Purrmit fixes that. Tabby, your AI admissions agent, checks every submission against each insurer's exact requirements, fills what's missing from the records you provide, and handles the back-and-forth with the TPA on its own. Clerks stop chasing paperwork. Patients stop waiting. You only step in for the cases Tabby flags.

The problem, in one number

0h

The average wait for a guarantee letter in a Malaysian private hospital. Almost always because a single field on the submission was missing. Tabby closes that gap in minutes.

How Tabby works

Three quiet steps between admission and approval.

  1. 01

    Tabby checks the documents

Every submission is matched against the insurer's rulebook. Required fields, diagnosis codes, Shariah markers, pre-existing history checks. Anything missing is shown to the clerk in one place.

  2. 02

    Tabby fills what's missing

Upload a referral letter, discharge summary, or admission form. Tabby reads it, extracts the relevant fields, and shows its reasoning inline so the clerk can confirm at a glance.

  3. 03

    Tabby clears the letter

When the insurer comes back with a query, Tabby retrieves the supporting record, drafts a clarification, and submits the response through the TPA. The clerk only steps in for the hard calls.

Reach every patient

Tabby messages patients where they already are.

When a missing document can't be found in records, Tabby reaches the patient on the channel they actually use, WhatsApp or Telegram, configured to your hospital's needs. Channel selection is set per patient and per hospital so the right message lands in the right inbox.

Frequently asked

Questions hospital teams ask first.

What exactly is a guarantee letter and why does it hold up admission?
A guarantee letter is the insurer's written commitment to pay for a patient's treatment. In Malaysian private hospitals a patient cannot be admitted for non-emergency care until the letter is approved. Most delays are not clinical, they are clerical, one missing field sends the whole submission back and the wait restarts.
Which insurers and TPAs does Purrmit support?
Today the system covers AIA via MediExpress, Etiqa Takaful via PMCare, and Great Eastern via MediLink. Each insurer has its own rulebook encoded inside Purrmit, including diagnosis codes, doctor notes, patient IC, Shariah-compliance markers, and pre-existing history checks where applicable.
Does Tabby ever make clinical decisions?
No. Tabby only handles the administrative envelope around a case, completeness checks, document extraction, EMR lookups, and drafting responses to insurer queries. Every clinical statement still comes from the treating doctor and the existing records.
How does Tabby resolve an insurer query like a pre-existing condition check?
Tabby reads the query, retrieves the relevant prior admission from the EMR, drafts a one-line clarification with the supporting reference, and submits it back through the TPA. The clerk is shown Tabby's reasoning and confirms before anything is finalised.
Is the clerk still in control of every case?
Yes. Tabby works autonomously on the routine work but flags any case that needs a human judgement call in crimson at the top of the queue. Nothing leaves the hospital without a clerk's confirmation.
Where does the patient data live in this demo?
Entirely in your browser. There is no backend, no login, and no data leaves this tab. Production deployments are designed to run inside the hospital's own infrastructure.
